Short Film Planning Animatic

Completed animatic showing the majority of the shots we have planned. Lenght of shots are dictated by length of time they appear on screen.

Shot Script:
Shot 1: Fade in POV mid-close up shot at eye level of character being beaten up - Fade out to titles, ambient sound can be heard over the black screens.
Shot 2: Fade in close up of character's hand with blood.
Shot 3: Tilt up from low angle to eye level of the bullies running away.
Shot 4: Medium long shot, static camera, character is leaning against fence then walks towards camera.
Shot 5: Medium long shot, static camera, character walks out of alleyway.
Shot 6: Mid close up of character with shallow depth of field. Camera tracking character backwards as they walk down the street.
Shot 7: Eye level POV medium shot, camera tilts up to look a people walking past whilst tracking forward
Shot 8: Mid close up at eye level of character which moves to a mid shot as the character stops to look at the passers by and the counters above thier heads.
Shot 9: Long shot at eye level of character walking around street corner, camera is stationary.
Shot 10: Close up at very low angle on photograph, character moves towards photo and picks it up
Shot 11: Close up of character looking up at eye level
Shot 12: Very low angle, tilt up of a person on top of a building
Shot 13: Pan up medium long shot of character on top of building
Shot 14: Long shot of person jumping of building, camera is static (Green screen shall be used for this)
Shot 15: Medium shot of character, camera is static, other people seen running towards camera.
Shot 16: High angle mid close up of character that has died, Timer is now at zero
Shot 17: Very low angle medium shot of dead character, main character seen running away
Shot 18: Long shot at eye level, character runs down the street
Shot 19: Medium long shot, character stops running and leans against wall to catch breath
Shot 20: Medium shot character turns to face reflection in window
Shot 21: Mid close up on character, waves thier hand over thier head to see if they themselves have a timer
Shot 22: Medium shot at eye level, character leans against wall, one of the bullies is seen walking down the street.
Shot 23: Mid close up at eye level, character looking down at floor.
Shot 24: POV shot at eye level, bully walks past from right to left, camera pans with character.
Shot 25: Long shot at eye level, bully walks past camera, main character walks into middle of shot.
Shot 26: Close up at eye level behind bully focusing on timer.
Shot 27: Medium shot at eye level tracking character running down the street.
Shot 28: Long shot at eye level, bully standing at roadside. Main character seen running towards them.
Shot 29: Mid close up at eye level. Character shouts stop.
Shot 30: Long shot at eye level, bully walks into road.
Shot 31: Medium long shot at eye level, main character pushes bully out of the way- Sudden cut to black.
Shot 32: End credits.

  1. You need to sort out your clock. There is no time appearing on your blog, and this means that I'm unable to record you as having completed work by the deadline. Do this straight away please.

  2. We changed it earlier today so it should be appering. Will look into it.

  3. The time is there just the time link, is appearing as black until the mouse hovers over it, then it turns white.
